Rhyming is an important precursor to reading.Many children have difficulty learning the concept of rhyming because they don't understand how words work. In this course, you'll gain insight into how to teach your child to rhyme and build concept of words.

If your child has difficulty manipulating sounds and playing with words, the chances are, they have difficulty with decoding, blending words, and reading in general. When kids have a strong foundation in phonological awareness they can hear the individual sounds in words, and understand that words are made of phonemes or sounds and these sounds are made of letters. Often, kids who struggle to learn to read do not have a solid foundation in phonological awareness, that is they have difficulty hearing and manipulating sounds. In this course, I will show you how to help your child improve their phonological awareness so that they can finally get over their reading hurdles.
